And here are the drawings before the text and other elements were added (not by me) :

Translating "Born of Hope"
You've probably heard about Born of Hope. It's a 1 hour feature fanfilm, a prequel to The Lord of the Rings trilogy by Peter Jackson.
Born of Hope is directed and produced by Kate Madison and tells the story of Aragorn's parents and the Dunedain before the War of the Ring.
Anyway. I've been asked by Kate to translate the full script into French, to make subtitles of the film and enable French people to fully appreciate it !
The movie will be released on December 1st, you'll be able to watch it for free on http://www.bornofhope.com/. Here's the latest trailer...
I'm very glad I took part in this awesome and ambitious project, even if it's just a very small part ! Hope you'll enjoy the film, and French people who read this, j'éspère que vous aimerez ma version fançaise !!

Commissions, exhibitions...
Here's some of the "professionnal" work I've done : taking part in exhibitions, making commissions for people...
Contribution to an exhibition in Berlin
Well, this really was a great experience. As you know, this year, the
world is celebrating the 20th birthday of the Berlin Wall fall.
So in Berlin, they asked several artists to paint and decorate huge
styrofoam blocks (something like 2 m wide and 3,5 m high !) which are
going to be shown in a museum in Berlin as well as in front of the
"Brandenburger Tor", this famous gate in Berlin. There'll be 1000 blocks !!
They also selected a few art students to take part in the painting of
these blocks, and I was very lucky : I spent a week in Berlin, I got
paid, and I worked with great artists.
On November 9th, the 1000 decorated blocks will be aligned in front of
the Brandenburger Tor, and just like those "dominos" (you know, when
you align dominos, push the first one and they all fal down), they'll
all fall down one after the other.
A video has been made while we were working :
And here are some pictures of the blocks I decorated (along with other people) and a few articles taken from newspapers (they're in French, unfortunately...) that deal with the exhibition. (click to enlarge)

A watercolor painting for a calendar
An artist asked me if she could take a picture of me painting some landscape stuff. So here I am, with my painting, at the Parc de Sceaux (near Paris). The calendar and the pictures were made by Florence Arnaud.
