Short film for Canal J TV channel
I had the opportunity to make a short film which will be broadcasted on the TV channel Canal J (for kids). We were asked to do a 2-minute short film for children between 6 and 12. It had to be funny, and have something to do with "an unusual birthday".
This film was created with the help of Sarah Hérault and Barthélémy Aupetit. It's called Happy Blorgsday.
Here's the main character (an alien called Blorg !) and some pictures of Blorg's spacecraft.
And some screencaps from the final film :
(all pictures are © Canal J and École Estienne.)

18th century ship
Some early pictures of the 18th century ship I'm modeling for my short film Dawn. No mapping yet, only basic 3DS Max textures and colours.
I had to do quite a lot of research to understant how such a ship is built !

Scarlett Wellington
Here is an early version of the main character of my short film called Dawn. Scarlett is a 17-year-old girl living around 1720 in England.
I've added her hair in 3D using Photoshop, because I haven't done it in 3D yet. And the texturing is not finished at all.
Software used : 3DS Max Design 2010
Terragen images
Here are some images I created with a 3D software called "Terragen".
I used them as matte paintings, adding them on After Effects after shooting only the actors in front of a blue screen.
Very Lord of the Rings-inspired images - actually based on Emyn Muil (seen at the beginning of The Two Towers, when Frodo and Sam are lost) and the snowy mountains from the first film.

Turn-around
Here's a turn-around of the very first 3D character I created (that was last year). I used 3DS Max 2009.

A room in 1978
This is the non-finished version of the bedroom where my next animation takes place. The only textures I've put so far are the wallpaper and the wood on the ground (taken from CGTextures).
"Music Box"
Here are other stills from the short animation called "Fantastic Music Box". All the items move and each one produces a different sound; itstarts with a little melody and ends up as a cacophony.
I'll try to post the full movie soon...

Hercules (NOT FINISHED !)
I am currently working on a 3D animation (about 1 min 30) based on the Twelve Labors of Hercules. I had to work on the fifth labor : the Augean Stables (Hercules has one day to clean up terribly dirty stables).
We have to re-invent the story in a modern world. My Hercules lives in 1978 and is 15 years old; he's got 24 hours to clean up his messy room. What a labor, he ? =)
DISCLAIMER
This is NOT the finished character ! There's no UVW Unwrap, no good textures, no hair, the vertices are not welded, many details are missing... I'll post a better version later ! I'm still working on this character.
Very first 3D project
Here are some stills from my very first 3D animation, which I did back in September. We had to create a very short film (1min) on the theme "Boîte à musique fantastique" ("Fantastic music box"). This is the environment my music box is in. Looks quite like a videogame =)
Of course, by then we hadn't learnt how to unwrap UVs, so the mapping is very basic...
